UK CMA Seeks Feedback on Proposed Undertakings in Lindab Merger Investigation

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is inviting (27 November) comments on the draft undertakings proposed following its investigation into the acquisition of HAS-Vent Holdings Limited by Lindab International AB.

Stakeholders have until 5pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, to submit feedback.

The CMA’s final report, published on October 15, 2024, identified competition concerns related to the merger, requiring Lindab to divest sites in Nottingham and Stoke-on-Trent to address these issues. The proposed undertakings aim to implement these remedies.

Key documents, including the notice of proposal and draft undertakings, are available on the CMA’s website for review. The CMA will decide whether to accept the undertakings following the consultation period.
