A new cooperation protocol was signed between the Turkish Competition Authority and the Northern Cyprus Competition Authority (TRNC) to strengthen collaboration on competition law practices, Turkish competition authority has announced today ( 27November).
The agreement, signed on November 25, 2024, in Lefkoşa by Birol KÜLE, President of the Turkish Competition Authority, and Mustafa ÜSTÜNEL, President of the TRNC Competition Board, aims to enhance institutional cooperation through shared experiences, joint training, and conferences. The protocol also includes plans for collaborative projects to support competition law development between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The signing ceremony was attended by TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun AMCAOĞLU.
