Ankara, December 2, 2025 — The Turkish authority has opened a full investigation into Dyson Turkey Elektrikli Ürünler (Dyson) over suspected conduct aimed at preventing parallel imports and influencing resale conditions across its distribution network.
Concerns
The Board’s decision follows a preliminary inquiry and on-site inspections examining whether Dyson may have violated Article 4 of Act no 4054 through practices designed to restrict parallel imports of its consumer products, including vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, hair care devices, lighting, and wearable technology.
Officials also identified conduct with characteristics of resale intervention that may have affected how distributors set downstream sales conditions.
Selective Distribution System Under Review
The investigation will also assess whether Dyson’s selective distribution system and related practices comply with Act no 4054. The authority will review both the structure and enforcement of the system, including any measures that may restrict access or impose discriminatory conditions.
The Board adopted its decision to launch the investigation on November 6, 2025, under number 25-41/1007-M.
