ANKARA, Dec. 15, 2025 — Turkey’s Competition Authority has opened an investigation into Mettler-Toledo Tr Ölçüm Aletleri Ticaret Satış ve Servis Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi over alleged anticompetitive conduct in the aftersales market for measurement and control equipment.
The probe follows a preliminary inquiry examining whether the company violated Article 6 of Act No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by engaging in exclusionary practices. The authority is investigating claims that the company restricted the supply of spare parts to competitors and refused to share passwords required to perform certain technical procedures on its devices.
The investigation was formally launched by a decision of the Competition Board dated Nov. 11, 2025.
