Dutch ACM Launches Investigation into Algorithm-Driven Airline Ticket Pricing

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) has started a market investigation into how computer-controlled pricing affects airline ticket costs. The probe aims to understand the real-world formation and consumer impact of dynamic and personalized prices in the Dutch aviation sector.

ACM invites stakeholders to comment on its research methods by 31 July 2025. The findings and recommendations are expected later this year.
