Budapest, 30 May 2025 – The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) welcomed a delegation from the Market Surveillance Authority of Henan Province, China, for a professional exchange aimed at strengthening international cooperation.
The meeting, held at GVH’s Budapest headquarters, focused on market competition, investment opportunities, and consumer protection. Both sides expressed interest in expanding future knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
Henan Province, home to nearly 100 million people, is one of China’s most populous and economically significant regions. The visit underscores GVH’s commitment to fostering global partnerships aligned with Hungary’s strategic interests.
The GVH has recently hosted several high-level international events, including the 50th European Competition Day and meetings of the Organisation of Turkic States and the International Competition Network.
