On 17 April 2025, the Turkish Competition Board announced the launch of a full investigation into Varta Pilleri Ticaret Ltd. Şti. following allegations of resale price maintenance, customer and regional restrictions, and interference with online reseller sales. The decision, made at the Board’s 13 March meeting and numbered 25-10/226-M, follows a preliminary inquiry that found sufficient grounds to proceed. The announcement does not imply any conclusion of wrongdoing or sanctions at this stage.
