The Turkish Competition Board has initiated an investigation into Apple Teknoloji ve Satış Limited Şirketi (APPLE) and four other companies—Destek Bilişim, Easycep, Getmobil, and HB Bilişim—over potential violations of Article 4 of the Act No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition. The inquiry follows allegations that Apple intervened in reseller pricing and coordinated buyback prices for its products. The decision to launch the probe was made on February 27, 2025, after on-site inspections. The investigation will assess whether Apple’s pricing policies restricted competition in the market.
