The Turkish Competition Board has initiated an investigation into Arzum Elektrikli Ev Aletleri Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ (Arzum), a company operating in the small appliances sector. The probe follows a preliminary inquiry that found sufficient evidence suggesting Arzum may have violated Article 4 of Act No. 4054 by controlling resale prices and restricting online sales of its resellers. The decision, numbered 25-07/177-M(2), was made on February 20, 2025, under Article 41 of the Act. The investigation will determine whether Arzum unlawfully intervened in reseller pricing and restricted active and passive sales through distributors.
