The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has announced (26 November) is seeking public input on the acquisition of Capita One Limited by MRI Software LLC. The CMA is assessing whether the merger has created or may create a situation that substantially lessens competition in the UK.
This invitation to comment is an initial step in the CMA’s review process, with a deadline for submissions set for December 10, 2024.
An initial enforcement order was issued on November 5, 2024, to maintain competition during the CMA’s evaluation. Interested parties are encouraged to provide feedback to assist the CMA in its investigation.
