Ankara, 16 July 2025 — The Turkish Competition Authority has launched a formal investigation into a group of companies operating in the cosmetics, personal care, and food supplements sectors, following allegations of anti-competitive conduct.
The inquiry targets the economic unit comprising Cosmox Kozmetik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., Vitaceel Kozmetik Gıda İth. İhr. San. ve Tic. AŞ, The Ceel Kozmetik İç ve Dış Ticaret AŞ, and Ceel Kozmetik ve Gıda AŞ.
Following a preliminary assessment, the Competition Board found sufficient evidence suggesting a potential infringement of Article 4 of Law No. 4054, which prohibits agreements that restrict competition. At its meeting on 12 June 2025, the Board adopted decisions No. 25-22/523-M(1) and 25-22/523-M(2) to initiate the investigation.
