The Indonesian Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) met with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to enhance coordination in addressing corruption related to business competition cases. The meeting, held on February 19, 2025, in Jakarta, aimed to streamline cooperation in handling corruption allegations involving businesses and government officials.
KPPU Chairman M. Fanshurullah Asa emphasized the need for stronger collaboration, particularly in tender collusion cases, which make up 56.5% of KPPU’s cases. KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto welcomed the initiative and proposed joint efforts in integrity assessments and corruption prevention measures.
This strengthened coordination marks a step toward improving law enforcement and policy recommendations to curb unfair business practices influenced by corruption.
