Turkey’s Competition Board Fines Frito Lay for Antitrust Violation

Turkey’s Competition Board has ruled that Frito Lay Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ violated the country’s competition law by restricting competitors’ activities in retail outlets. Following an investigation under Act No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition, the Board decided on February 13, 2025, to impose administrative fines and remedies on the company. The full decision, subject to appeal before Ankara Administrative Courts, will be published with its reasoning at a later date.
