Croatian Competition Authority Announces 2025 Priorities

The Croatian Competition Authority (AZTN) has set its priorities for 2025, marking the 30th anniversary of Croatia’s first Competition Act.

AZTN will focus on key sectors impacting consumer welfare and market competition, including retail food trade, telecommunications, and energy.

Efforts will target anticompetitive practices such as cartels, abuse of dominance, and unfair trading practices in the agricultural and food supply chain.

The authority will also enhance its enforcement capabilities, strengthen international cooperation, and promote compliance through education and transparency initiatives. More details are available here.
