KPPU Investigates Alleged Tender Collusion in Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Rail Project

On December 13, 2024, KPPU investigators presented a report on alleged tender collusion in supplying Electric Multiple Units (EMU) for the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway Project. The allegations, involving PT CRRC Sifang Indonesia (Tender Committee) and PT Anugerah Logistik Prestasindo, include non-transparent tender processes and favoring unqualified bidders.

The investigation uncovered discriminatory practices and evidence of collusion that obstructed fair competition.

The case, under Article 22 of Law No. 5 of 1999, continues with the next hearing scheduled for January 7, 2025, where the defendants will respond to the findings.
