22 July 2025 – Beijing — China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has announced the suspension of its antitrust investigation into DuPont China Group Co., Ltd., according to a brief statement released Tuesday evening.
The regulator did not disclose the reasons behind the decision or whether the suspension is temporary or final. The probe was initially launched over suspected violations of China’s Anti-Monopoly Law, as reported earlier this year by Competition Today.
DuPont has not yet issued a public statement regarding the suspension.
